Difference between PC and Server
Personal Computers are used for work routines or activities by people. It is not suitable for experts. PC is used for purposes like video gaming, conferences, study purposes, emails, etc.

PC can be of two types described below:
- Stationery PC
Stationary PCs are designed to use regularly for one location use only. It is a desktop computer which keeps in one place under the desk. It runs on a power supply.
- Portable PC
Portable PCs are designed to be easily moved. You can bring it to you anywhere. It is designed with a keyboard and display together. It includes laptops, netbooks, smartphones, and notebooks. It runs on a battery.

The components of a PC are divided into hardware and software.

CPU: It is the brain of a computer.
Storage Devices: It includes HDDs and SSDs to store and share data.
GPU: It is a computer chip used to generate images and perform rapid mathematical calculations.
Motherboard: It is the main circuit board that connects all the components of the computer to the CPU for implementing commands.
External Equipment: These are the standard components used to operate the computer. It includes a mouse, keyboard, and monitors.
Power Supply: This component provides electricity to power the PC.
Software is a program designed with a set of instructions that help a user interact with the computer. The two software of a PC is the Operating System and Application.
Operating System deals with or manages the hardware system of the computer and other resources of a software. The most common and popular computer software is Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Mac.
Applications are another part of PC software, providing functionality and tools to the end-user. Application software includes a web browser, email, and word processor.
The server is a part of a computer that takes care of resources. It helps the computer to connect to the internet. It facilitates the computer for sharing data and resources with other devices.

The server has broken down into many types based on its functionality and form factor.
On the base of functionality, multiple types of servers perform many tasks. The most common functionality includes proxy security, databases, shared networks file, and serving email and multimedia content.

Components of Server
CPU: It is the main component of an electronic server and controls all functions of a server.
Hard Disk: it saves all the data and software.
Motherboard: It connects all parts of the server and dictates the amount of storage and hard drive numbers, connected to the server.
Memory: It dictates the available storage amount.
Network Connection: It provides a connection to the server to receive and respond to the client`s request.
Server Hardware needs software to manage the operations smoothly. Server Operating System is the software that provides administrators with a command-line interface.
